Use these steps to find your OS "operating system" version and Service Pack installation on a Windows XP based PC. Select START on your task bar then right-click on My Computer and select Properties. The OS version and Service Pack version are listed on the top of the System Properties page. The above system is running Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2.
