Use these steps to find basic CPU "Central Processing Unit" information on a WindowsXP based PC. Use these steps to find basic memory information on a WindowsXP based PC.
Select START on your task bar then right-click on My Computer and select properties. Your CPU information will be listed at the bottom of the system properties window. The above machine has two processors and 1.99 GB of RAM "Random Access Memory".
